Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Tuesday it would begin selling the over-the-counter version of Nexium 14-Day-Free to the public in return for discounts on the drug and other non-prescription products. The Food and Drug Administration announced Nexium 14-Day-Free will be available at pharmacies nationwide beginning on January 16. The FDA announced that the drugmaker will begin selling a non-prescription version of Nexium 14-Day-Free for the first time in the first half of 2024.
Nexium 14-Day-Free is the only prescription medication that can be used on more than one stomach, esophagus, bladder, nasal passages, and lungs. The drug, a once-daily medication, is approved for the treatment of heartburn, acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and peptic ulcers.
Nexium is available in the U. and Canada through mail-order pharmacies. Nexium is the only over-the-counter medication that can be purchased through the mail, and pharmacies can provide a prescription.
Nexium 14-Day-Free is a medication that patients can take once daily with or without food. Patients can take the medication once every 24 hours, as directed by their healthcare provider. The medication should not be taken more than once a day.
Patients can also get Nexium 24 hours a day at any time for up to 7 days. Nexium 14-Day-Free is a non-prescription treatment for patients who do not respond to other medications or those who are not taking any other medications at all.
